A 400 mm matt black wall arm carries a round 300 mm rainfall head that swivels through 360 degrees. This concealed shower set pairs a wide, flat diffuser with a compact hand shower on a 190 mm G1/2 hose, so wide coverage and close rinsing are both on hand.

The body is brass, reinforced with a stainless steel alloy on the connecting parts. The internal ceramic cartridge blends hot and cold smoothly and keeps doing so over years of daily use, without the stepping or judder that wears into cheaper valves.

Two separate handles run the changeover between handset and overhead. Because each outlet is plumbed individually, both can run at the same time with no pressure lost from either one.

The 120 mm deep concealed housing is set into the stud wall before the tiles go on. Only the finishing plates and water outlets stay visible, which leaves the shower wall clear and uninterrupted.

How is a concealed shower valve installed?

The concealed body is fixed into the stud wall before tiling and connected to the hot and cold supplies. A pressure test comes before the wall is closed up, then the plates and outlets are screwed on at the surface once the tiles are laid. Moving the supply pipework is a job for a qualified plumber.
