The 160 mm control escutcheon and the 400 mm wall arm sit flush against the tile in matt black — no reflection on any visible part. This concealed shower valve kit is machined from brass with a uniformly deep, muted surface: control, arm, round head and slide handset all absorb light rather than returning it.

The body is high-strength brass under a matt black PVD coating. The treated surface takes repeated splashing without losing tone. Care is a soft microfibre cloth and warm soapy water — abrasive products and acidic sprays should be avoided to protect the matt treatment.

The concealed control combines a 2-outlet selector, switching between the rain head and the 190 mm slide handset, with independent temperature adjustment. The round rainfall head is available in 200, 250 or 300 mm. Universal G1/2 connection.

Concealed matt black suits large-format anthracite tiling, polished concrete and dark stone. Against a white or light grey wall it makes a firm contrast that structures the shower area with no added decoration.

Concealed or exposed — what is the difference?

A concealed valve buries the pipework inside the wall, leaving only the control, the arm and the head visible. An exposed shower fixes every component to the wall face without any building work. Concealed fitting needs preparation before tiling but produces a much cleaner result; exposed fitting suits a refurbishment where the wall stays closed.
