A digital readout built into the mixer shows the water temperature in real time — the detail that sets this thermostatic shower column apart at a glance. The matt black body runs vertically with height adjustable between 720 and 1120 mm, and a 270 mm wall shelf built in at mid-height.

The assembly is built from brass and ABS, both treated against corrosion. The surfaces resist limescale deposits and wipe clean with a dry cloth. The thermostatic valve includes a safety stop that blocks the temperature rising past the set threshold.

The mixer controls flow and temperature separately, with a built-in diverter switching between the 290 x 190 mm rain head and the 250 mm hand shower. The hose measures 1500 mm and the shower arm 330 mm. Installation is wall mounted onto a standard domestic supply.

The column suits large-format tiled bathrooms as readily as a walk-in wet room. Matt black pairs with dark grey grout, and holds its own in mineral or white-dominated schemes.

What does the safety stop on a thermostatic valve do?

The safety stop is a physical detent on the temperature handle, normally set at 38°C. To go beyond it you have to press and hold a release button, which means the temperature cannot be pushed into the scalding range by accident — a knock, a child turning the handle or a careless grab all stop at the detent.
